This week, I met up with Maison Chiu who is a first-year business marketing major. She came from Millikan High School and loves to draw. Something interesting that I found out about her is that she grew up without a phone or any kind of technology. She didn’t have television or internet because her parents wanted her to experience life without being drowned by technology. She explained that her parents wanted her and her sister to associate technology with work. She is an extremely open person and we talked about theories about the universe and religion. It was really nice to talk to someone who appreciates faith as much I do.
She prefers waffles over pancakes. I found that quite disagreeable but to each their own! She talked about how she is into a more electronic music, such as trap, chill step, and house.
She’s definitely very open person, and I am very glad to have met her!
